(The picture above was made by me and I will allow you to take it if you put a link back to here!)

The BBC have confirmed that there won’t be a Totally Doctor Who Series 3 to air along with Doctor Who Series 4. It’s a shame really because it was something to watch and had a good preview to the next episode. Oh well.

Adrift and Fragments Tonight!

21 03 2008

(Thanks to Tardis and Torchwood Treasures for this pic!)

Don’t forget to watch Torchwood Adrift and Fragments tonight! Here is the sypnosis and the TV schedule!

Adrift – BBC2 – 9pm (Declassified 9.50pm)
When a local teenager disappears Gwen is drawn into an investigation that reveals a darker side of Torchwood. Hundreds of people have disappeared without trace, but why is Jack obstructing attempts to find them? The answer seems to lie in the rift. Literally, and as Gwen follows the trail, she makes a shocking discovery.

Fragments – BBC3 – 10.30pm
A booby-trapped building explodes and knocks the team unconscious. As each team member’s life flashes before their eyes, viewers learn how each of them was recruited to Torchwood: Captain Jack was initiated into a shocked Victorian Torchwood in 1899; Toshiko went on a daring mission to trade alien technology for her mother’s life; Ianto wooed Jack with coffee and a flair for alien-catching; and Owen had a medical revelation that changed how he saw the world.

In other news I would like to announce that Mark from the Tardis Base’s good friend Tardis and Torchwood Treasures (the supplier for some of the brill pics here!) has won a competition in Torchwood Magazine and wins a signed copy of John Barrowmans (Captain Jack) autobiography! Congratulations!

Series 4 Starts on the 5th of April!

(Thanks to Tardis and Torchwood Treasures for this cool pic! :-))

The BBC has confirmed that Doctor Who Series Four will air on BBC One on 5th April 2008.

The time for the programme is still to be confirmed, but the programme will probably be shown at around 7pm. Episode One, Partners In Crime reunites the Doctor with Donna Noble. It also stars Miss Foster who is a villian. Here is the sypnosis!

“Donna Noble is determined to find the Doctor again – even if it means braving the villainous Miss Foster and her hordes of sinister Adipose, as Russell T Davies’s Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama returns for a fourth series. But when the alien threat escalates out of control, can Donna find her Time Lord before the march of the Adipose begins?”

It looks really exciting I can’t wait until April 5th for Partners in Crime to air! By the sounds of it, I think the Adipose are the monsters! Oh and the good thing is that it is on the day after the Torchwood finale for BBC2 viewers and 8 days after Torchwood for BBC3 viewers!

This week’s Doctor Who Adventures takes a look at the most exciting machine in the universe, the Doctor’s TARDIS. You can find out how the design team created the look for the time machine, and take a peek at the amazing controls.

The issue comes with eight free gifts. There’s a special folder, Time Agent badge, Dalek and TARDIS magnets, pen, holographic stickers and psychic paper. There are posters of the TARDIS inside and out, the Doctor in 42, and Dalek.

In “Tales from the TARDIS”, the Abzorbaloff reveals his ugly face and “The Ultimate Guide to Doctor Who” reviews The Lazarus Experiment to Blink. The quiz asks how much do you know about the Cybermen and explores why we love K-9.

There are details on how to be a scary Clockwork Robot and “Doctor’s Data” looks at the First Doctor. The Comic strip is part one of a new adventure for the Doctor “Every Dog has its Day.”

Doctor Who Adventures is out across the UK and Ireland on Thursday 20 March. Also Torchwood #3 is out now with previews to the finale!
